UNDULATION : COLORED SQUARE DISH
Yokohama's symbolic area : Naka-ku, Yokohama City. The capital of Kanagawa Prefecture, Naka-ku is dotted with many historical buildings that can be said to be symbols of Yokohama. Naka-ku is decorated with many flowers swaying in the gentle sea breeze from the port throughout the four seasons. We have created a category called "Yokohama Ginrei-Saihoku," a collection of colorful works inspired by the colors of the flowers blooming in Naka-ku. This glossy sparkle color is achieved by applying several layers of a special inorganic-organic hybrid paint made of nanosilica and acrylic resin, which is extremely difficult to obtain. The final coating film formed by this special paint has a high hardness of 8H, and it also has excellent stain resistance and a high level of super water and oil repellency. The image of the colors on the rather large square plate is that of a flower bed in Yamashita Park in midsummer, which is always filled with colorful small flowers.
