Motorcycle HELMET
Within the UNDULATION genre, this piece elevates the act of painting itself into an accumulation of time and emotion, using a vintage-style jet helmet as its canvas. The layered paint coating consists of 30 layers total. Purple / Orange / Green / Yellow, and then purple again... Each color layer interferes with, blends into, and sometimes repels the others, creating complex expressions that emerge between chance and necessity.
The surface patterns emit multi-layered, evocative imagery that touches the viewer's inner self without relying on distinct motifs. The overlapping colors shift expression depending on light angles and distance, creating a sense of constant undulation—a perpetual ripple—even in this static helmet.
This is not merely custom paint. It is a wearable art piece that encapsulates time, emotion, and memory within a tool for running. It embodies the purest form of what UNDULATION pursues: the "ambiguity of boundaries" and the "narratives born from layers."
